Meet Cowboy

Howdy, I’d like to introduce myself partner. My name is Cowboy.  I am one lucky boy.  I was struggling to live daily in a very rough area, having been abandoned at a utility plant along with 4 other dogs.  Luckily we formed a pack and tried to help each other.  Food and water were very hard to come by, but we managed to survive,  until one day a Good Sam happened upon our group.  We started to be fed regularly and the Good Sam enlisted some help and got most of us out of the dangers we were surviving in.  I am now living the good life in foster care and am hoping and praying someone will take interest in me and give me my very own real home.
I get along with other dogs when introduced properly, walk well on a leash , am a little nervous in a car and my current foster can tell I probably lived indoors at one time.  I am easy going and not high energy.  Please feed me separately as I may be a bit over-protective with my food at time.  I had to learn how to fight for my food to survive on the streets.
I am up to date on shots, neutered, micochipped, weigh about 50 lbs and ready for a loving and responsible family to call my own
NOTE: Cowboy is HW +, but will be gifted the cost of HW treatment through the rescue, and he is currently on antibiotics for tick born diseases.
